Our Christmas Wish – To Impact Nurses for Newborns

First Impressions Family Dentistry is sponsoring the Nurses for Newborns non-profit agency that serves all of Middle Tennessee this holiday season.

This organization was chosen for two reasons.

1) There is a strong link between dental disease and pre mature births for pregnant women. Sponsoring this agency, through our dental office, will increase everyone's awareness of the necessity for routine, regularly scheduled dental care.

2) This organization does wonderful work and impacts many lives right here in Middle Tennessee. NFNF is a nurse home-visiting [program that serves teen moms, mentally or physically challenged, infants that are sick, and general population families that are in need. They help parents learn how to ‘parent responsibly' and give assistance to poverty stricken families. Up to 70% of families helped by this organization are at the poverty level.

THIS WAY WE CAN KEEP A RUNNING TOTAL OF ITEMS PROVIDED FOR SO THE NEEDS ARE MET. HELP MAKE CHRISTMAS A SPECIAL TIME FOR THESE FAMILIES!

Note: They will accept used toys and clothing as long as they are in relatively good condition.

Also, they ask any item that is wrapped in Christmas paper, please tag the item stating what the contents are inside and the size so the gifts can be evenly disbursed.

Above items mostly need onesies and sleepers

Diapers needed in sizes: Preemies, newborns, size one and size two

Thermometers

Coats for older siblings, ages 2 years to 10 years old

Car seats ( 2- 3 year olds)

Strollers (umbrella type is fine)
